Obituary for Nada Rusie (Ehlert)
Nada Dean Rusie, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away October 3, 2017. The daughter of Robert P. and B. Leone Crook Ehlert, Nada was born October 2, 1927 in Delphi, Indiana.
After 50 years of services, she retired as a school crossing guard with Indianapolis Public Schools. Nada was a member and Past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Englewood Chapter 483, member and Past Worthy High Priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, member of the Order of the Amaranth, member and Past President of the Social Order of the Beauceant and is a Kentucky Colonel.
Nada is survived by her daughters, Nada Deloris Lovett of Gurley, Alabama and Ramona L. (David) Goss of Fishers; sisters, Zona (George) McBee of Monon and Robbie (Gary) Delson of Glenwood, Illinois; grandchildren, Brenda (Dale) Reece, Joe Lovett, Frank Lovett, William Lovett and Kimberly (Mark) Pierson; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was the widow of Walter L. Rusie.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 October 6, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home – 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. October 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest
Lawn Memory Gardens.
The Order of the Eastern Star, Englewood Chapter 483, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Order of the Amaranth will be conducting their memorial services starting at 7:00 p.m. October 6, 2017 at the funeral home.
