Obituary for Falco Desiderio
Falco J. “Desi” Desiderio, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away May 16, 2017. The son of Moses “Mike” and Giovann “Jenny” Cononico Desiderio, Falco was born May 16, 1932 in Warren, Ohio.
He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. For 23 years, he owned and operated Allied Steel Rule Dies. Previously, he worked for Inland Containers for 26 years. Desi enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling. He golfed and also bowled on several leagues. Desi watched and rooted for the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His pride and joy was interacting with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Giovann Thomas; brother, Mike (Bev) Desiderio; grandchildren, Amber Nichole and Zachary W. Thomas and Rita Paige Desiderio; great-grandchildren, Kaylee May and Zachary Caleb Phillips and Bryella J. Desiderio and girlfriend, Anna Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita J. and daughter, Shirley R. Desiderio.
Fr. Gerald J. Kirkhoff will conduct funeral services 10:00 a.m. May 20, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home – 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. May 19th at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
